The English Garden cocktail brings together the quintessentially British ingredients that are gin, elderflower and cucmber so it's easy to see where it got its name from.
What adds to the mystery is that, no matter how hard we try, there's no information on the cocktail's origin or how it became the popular drink it is today.
One thing is for certain though, this cocktail doesn't need to rely on an impressive history as the ingredients of the English Garden recipe simply speak for themselves.
